Within our half-acre Poipu Beach property are two fully restored two bedroom/one bath historic Kauai plantation cottages, and a third larger cottage built to mimic the other two. These Kauai Vacation Cottages and our five bedroom three bath historic plantation Manager's House are just a minute's walk from the pristine white sandy beaches of Poipu. You'll be lulled to sleep every night by the waves, and awaken every morning to the gentle sea breezes. Our south shore beach homes are perfect for a kauai honeymoon, group retreat, family vacation or a tropical beach destination wedding on Kauai.

With a private swimming pool just for our guests, lush tropical landscaping and large grassy yard, the Poipu cottages and Manager's Home can be rented either individually, for groups of 2 - 10, or all together, accommodating up to 26 people. There is no better place to stay when visiting Kauai's south shore at Poipu Beach.

Each of our units is designed to give you the ultimate in home-away-from-home comfort. The kitchens all include full-sized appliances (including dishwashers), plus just about every small appliance we can think of. Each property also has its own washer and dryer. We've got boogie boards, sand chairs, snorkel gear, and even wireless broadband internet access.

Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of the Poipu Beach resort area, Hale Pohaku is a perfect holiday choice for honeymooners looking for the ultimate in privacy, families with children searching for the ultimate in safety, comfort and convenience, and even large family reunions and weddings.

Our four units are as follows:

The Manager's House - a fully renovated plantation home which can be rented either as a four bedroom/2 bath property (maximum capacity 8), or with the Studio Suite as a five bedroom/3 bath unit (maximum capacity 10)
The Jungle Cottage - a fully restored plantation cottage built in the 1940s, featuring 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, maximum capacity 4
The Orchid Cottage - also a fully restored plantation cottage from the 1940s, 2 bedrooms/1 bath, maximum capacity 4
The Beach Rose Cottage - built ten years ago, this cottage also features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, providing accommodations for 4 people.
The Studio Suite - with a full kitchen, queen bed, separate sitting and dining areas and private bath, the Studio Suite can be rented either as part of the Manager's House or by itself, providing accommodations for 2 people.
